Membership Terms

These Membership Terms apply to paid memberships purchased through riskmanagement.odoo.com. They work together with our Terms of Use, Privacy Notice and Disclaimer. By subscribing, you agree to these terms.
1. Membership tiers
- Professional Membership: a recurring subscription, billed monthly or annually, giving access to the members area, the core Knowledge Library and core Downloads.
- Founding Member: an annual membership offered to the first 150 founding members, giving the full Knowledge Library and all Downloads. Once 150 founding places are taken, the Founding offer closes.
The specific benefits of each tier are described on the membership pages and may be added to over time.
2. Prices, GST and currency
Prices are shown on the membership pages and are in Australian dollars (AUD). For customers in Australia, prices are inclusive of GST where it applies. For customers outside Australia, sales are treated as GST-free. You are responsible for any taxes, duties or charges imposed in your own country.
3. Billing and automatic renewal
Memberships are recurring. By subscribing, you authorise us and our payment provider, Stripe, to charge your nominated payment method at the start of each billing period (each month or each year, depending on the plan) until the membership is cancelled. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by us.
If a payment fails, we may retry the payment and may suspend access until payment is successful.
4. Seven-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within seven (7) days of your first payment by contacting us at support@risk-management.au. The guarantee applies to your first payment on a new membership.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time by emailing support@risk-management.au, or through your account portal. When you cancel, your membership remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it will not renew after that. Except for the seven-day guarantee above, or where required by law, payments already made are not refunded for the remainder of a paid period.
6. Changes to prices or benefits
We may change membership prices or benefits. Where a change affects your renewal price, we will give you reasonable notice before it takes effect, so you can decide whether to continue. Changes do not affect the period you have already paid for.
7. Your account and acceptable use of member content
Membership is personal to you. You agree to:
- keep your login details secure and not share them
- use member content and downloadable tools for your own internal or professional use only
- not redistribute, publish, resell or share member content, downloads or logins
We may suspend or terminate a membership that breaches these terms or the Terms of Use, without refund where the breach is material.
8. Consumer guarantees
Our memberships come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under that law. The seven-day guarantee above is in addition to those rights.
9. Liability
Membership content is general information and commentary, not professional, legal, financial, security or risk advice. See our Disclaimer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to the consumer guarantees above, our liability in connection with a membership is limited to resupplying the relevant content or refunding the amount you paid for the relevant period.
